The Gold Buckle Roping Futurities Spring Roping event took place May 9 – 12 at the Hardy Murphy Coliseum in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The new futurity program hosted their first event in December of 2023, and has plans to host two per year moving forward.

The event attracted top notch horses and ropers alike. It also featured many bloodlines familiar in the Western performance horse world. Gunna Wanna, a 2020 mare, made a great appearance, the palomino mare finished fourth at the National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity Finals last fall.
