Eunomia ventured to California for the Clement L. Hirsch Stakes (G1) Aug. 1 and came away with a grade 1 prize after defeating local hopefuls Om N Joy and Simply Joking in the mile and one-sixteenth main track event.
For much of the $485,000 Jim Dandy Stakes (G2), it looked like good luck had abruptly deserted trainer Todd Pletcher and owner Mike Repole, but Renegade prevailed by a half-length over favored Commandment.
