Keeneland has added three supplements to its Championship Sale: a 2.5% fractional interest in Upstart; a lifetime breeding right in Life Is Good; and a 50% ownership interest in Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1T) pre-entrant Citrus Springs.

James "Jim" Everatt, who with his wife, Janeane, established Shannondoe Farm and became a prominent Thoroughbred breeder in Canada, died Oct. 15 at his residence in St. Thomas, Ontario. He was 86.

Ocala Stud's 2027 stallion roster is headed by Kantharos, who is returning to the Sunshine State and will stand for $8,500, live foal stands and nurses.

With the local community rallying behind it, Eureka Downs has returned to horse racing. Now, that community aims to make it a success.

At the end of the third session, 268 horses had changed hands for $15,153,000, including private sales. The gross was down compared to last year's third session, which saw 278 horses sell for $19,747,500.
