The 2026 Kentucky Downs meet will feature 20 stakes races with $25.75 million in total purses. The seven-day racing season opens on Saturday, Aug. 29, and continues on Aug. 30, Sept. 3, Sept. 5-7, and Sept. 9, offering stakes action on every date.

Keeneland has cataloged 4,635 horses for the 83rd edition of its September Yearling Sale, which will cover 12 sessions from Sept. 14 through Sept. 26. The catalog is now online.

Building on a stellar 2026 racetrack campaign with six graded stakes winners, Nyquist extended his dominance to the sales ring during Day 1 of Fasig-Tipton's The Saratoga Sale Aug. 10. Hip 83 commanded $3.2 million from Boyd Racing.

Hip 78 and 91 became the seventh and eighth seven-figure yearling colts in the opening session of Fasig-Tipton's The Saratoga Sale.
