Lindy Ashlock wins Agusta Futurity Non-Pro Classic

To win at an event like the Augusta Futurity is special for any rider. For Lindy Ashlock though, the win was made even more special by the horse she won on. Fancylike was bred by Lindy and her husband Wes Ashlock. It was Fancyliike’s first major event Championship.

The 2019 red roan mare is a daughter of the EquiStat Elite $15 Million Sire Dual Smart Rey and out of Little Miss One time (by One Time Pepto). Good bloodlines aren’t the only thing that propelled Fancyliike to her 220.5 score for the win.

Ashlock herself has a pretty good track record at the Augusta Futurity. She won the 4-Year-Old Non-Pro in 2023 on Areyana (Sigala Rey x Safari Smooth Cat x Smooth As A Cat). The field of horses and riders they were competing against were just as accomplished, with more than a few Augusta Futurity championships under their belts.
